30 hodín v autobuse, neskonalé množstvo červených Marlboro, Captain Morgan na dobrú noc, únava, lezenie si na nervy. Cesta do Londýna s Nasťou. Koketný colník pred Eurotunelom, sushi na Victoria's Station, litre Starbucks kávy. Kilometre odchodené pešo, spoznané odľahlé časti Londýna a rovnako aj centrum. Camden Town, Oxford Street, Topshop, Zara, Primark. Luton Airport, kde som musela nechať polku vecí, kvôli baggage overweight, ďalší colník nechávajúci komplimenty, let domov. Keď som nazrela cez okno lietadla von, uvidela som len modrú plochu a oblaky v nej. Akokeby neexistovalo nič iné okrem neba. Bola to Temža podo mnou a bola krásna. Veľmi málo času na tieto miesta, ale o to väčšia túžba.

Čo vám napadne ako prvé pri slove elegancia? Ktorá osoba, či vec, vlastnosť a črta? Možno miesto, možno pocit... Pre mňa to je éra. Celá éra od 20. do 60. rokov minulého storočia. Silver Screen Stars, prvé modelky, naivné filmy. Všetky ženy v šatách (okrem Chanel, ale aj jej nohavicové kostýmy sú na Olympe elegancie), perly, podpätky, jemné účesy a ťažké parfumy. Muži v smokingoch, s náznakmi správania sa gentlemana, ...
Pôvab a rozkoš rokov minulých aj napriek vojnám zostávajú pre mňa snom. Snom, v ktorom by som rada ožila.

Okrem Audrey Hepburn, Brigette Bardot, Viviene Leigh & co. je tu jedna osoba, donedávna mnou dobre nepoznaná. Lisa Fonssagrives. Manželka Irvinga Penna, prevtelená elegancia a prvá supermodelka. Aristokratické držanie tela a tenké črty tváre pôsobili honosnejšie ako u samotnej Grace Kelly. Veľa o jej živote zatiaľ neviem, ale chcela som vám predstaviť to, čo pre mňa znamená vrchol elegancie a charizmy. Žena s veľkým Ž, s rúžom miesto lesku a pohľadom zatieňujúcim slová...

Som si vedomá toho, že tento článok píšem bez vedomia zúčastnených, ale chcelo sa mi tak nostalgicky zaspomínať na časy, keď môj fotoaparát nebol zaliaty Krvavou Mary. Boli sme len tak na záhrade, v mojej hlave sa zrodila idea "Think Pink" and here you are! Ruský Vogue, slovenskí umelci a britská hudba v pozadí. Netvrdím, že som fotograf, lebo ja viem, že nie som. Nemám ani poňatia o žiadnych technických záležitostiach v tomto smere, nulové skúsenosti. Ale baví ma to. Najmä keď je Terry mojou inšpiráciou. Salut!

Čokoľvek sa v našom živote stane, máme potrebu sa o tom s niekým porozprávať. Niekto o tom dáva vedieť svojim 748 priateľom na facebooku, niekto má vytvorený blog plný sĺz, niekto má kamarátky. V mojom prípade je to 24 hodinová non-stop telefónna linka 3 ľudí, ktorým môžem hocikedy zavolať, ale nič na tomto svete sa nevyrovná rozhovorom s neznámymi osobami. Zopár krát sa mi pošťastilo a s uplakanou tvárou som sa v noci túlala aj so psom po uliciach blízko domu, vdychovala som nikotínový dym alebo len tak sedela na lavičke. A ani neviem ako a prečo sa pri mne zjavila neznáma osoba, ktorú som nikdy predtým a ani potom nevidela. Náhodný okoloidúci, takisto zdrvený životom, ktorému chýbal zapaľovač. Prisadol si, porozprával o svojich tajomstvách, potom chvíľu počúval mňa a hneď nám bolo obom lepšie. Takýmto ľuďom môžete povedať hocičo. Mám na mysli vzťahy, obavy a intrigy. On nepozná nikoho z vášho života, vy z toho jeho. Nie je nikomu z príbehu naklonený, pozrie sa na jadro veci najobjektívnejšie a nie ste mu ničím viazané. Ešte ani meno nie je nutnosťou. Je to len zopár slov v tmavej noci, cigaretami prerušované rozprávanie a spontánnosť. Je to uvoľnenie. Náhodné stretnutie s cudzincom v noci...

Uvoľnenie. Akoby mi niekto dal dole putá a vybral šatku z úst. Vraciam sa k blogovaniu v slovenčine, ktoré ma dlhé roky tak bavilo...
Akurát som spomínala na Glamgirlie časy, každodenné príspevky a iné témy. Kde som sa mohla odviazať vo svojej reči a formulovať myšlienky takisto, ako mi lietali hlavou. Spomínam na moje obľúbené blogy ako Sedge, Lost In The Supermarket, Foly D Sante a mnoho ďalších, pamätám sa na blogerku Lenku, ktorá potom zmizla a všetko je zrazu tak nostalgické a je mi ľúto, že sme to tak nemilosrdne ukončili. Ale ja som spať..

Jedno mesto, jedna škola, spoloční známi a ženská ignorácia. Jedna bývala na rovnakom sídlisku, druhú som vídavala päťkrát do týždňa a s treťou som sa občas stretla. Žiadne ahoj a ani tušenie, že naše myšlienky letia rovnakým smerom. Ženská ignorácia, ako som už spomínala. A potom zistíš, že Lola býva o 4 ulice vyššie, Becca je Rebeka zo školy a blogerka Viiiks je Viki, tá čo má ten úžasný blog s Ditou von Teese. A takisto aj Bronka je z Košíc. Toto nemohlo mať iné vyvrcholenie, než vznik Fashion Meetingov, kam prišla Marija, Sandra a aj zopár non-blogeriek...

Až sa mi ťažko píše, keď som tu tak dlho nebola, ale ja sa roztrénujem. Vidíme sa častejšie bejbys.

A ešte zopár fotiek z kolekcie Alison Jackson, ktorá klebetám a utópii dáva reálnu podobu. Videli ste už niekedy kráľovnu na záchode.. ?

It´s over right now and I feel incredibly good! This has been my first fashion show, I just do not understand why I thought it has to last longer... Anyway charismatic genius Christopher and his team brought great idea which was I think very riskant because millions of people, fahionistas and blogger have seen it and at the moment we all are typing our opinions and impressions.
I have to say I love the jackets and coats, especially in black color and also first brown fur has been totally sexy. I don´t know why, but I have a feeling that 2 another brown furs looked like a bear a bit. Leather details on shoes and coats made me feel rock´n´roll. They are military, but rock´n´roll. It is pretty. Red dress and red details in some outfits are really to die for. Especially the dress. Very good colour. Also menswear has been tradionally on the highest fashion level. Not classic rock´n´roll but very british.

Has anybody seen it? live...Internet live :)

Thank you Christopher, I have excellent experience. Now I know that I want to be a part of that world. And I will do everything to sit in a real front row!

Best friend or just another man, who wanted to abuse her? I am talking about Andy Warhol and Edie Sedgwick and about their friendship. The Factory Girl movie changed my opinion, it showed me Warhol in worst light. I appreciate his work and talent, but I still have a mess in his character. I know, maybe it was Edie´s fault that her life turned such a bad way, but what about his influence? For example, he was very angry, when she felt in love with Dylan and he didn´t forgive it... I don´t know what to think.

What´s your opinion?

In Slovakia for School Leaving party it is necessary to shoot a movie. In my class I wrote a screenplay about prostitutes (me in violet fur and girl in long fur), mafia (all in black), dancers (playmates), bodyguards, James Bond, gamblers,... That wonderful bar around is my favorite club in Košice, Retro Cult Bar and all the people my classmates. I have a feeling this innocent movie turned to beginning of a porn film. When video will be completely ready I´ll post it here.

I am not sure, if I have told you about my russian friend, who is obsessed with world of "Opulence" and fashion. He gave me a permission to write about him and his work here, so I decided to post some of his pics I love.

What about your career beginnings?
It hasn´t started yet, but I think things will change very soon, I just can´t decide where to start... Paris, Milan, New York?!
I studied at Art Academy of Fashion Design, but I don´t want to be a designer, I love something else about fashion.

Are there any artists around you?Oh yes! Loads! There is some attraction! I´m a person you can only love or hate!

The most interesting work comments?

I remember when I was 14 I wrote a letter to one of the russian best known fashion magazine. Chief editor was very suprised when he realised the fact that there is a 14 years old boy, who believes in haute couture.. Not only my letter was published there, but also editor's letter mentioned me in few sentences. I remember that issue was focused on unexpected things and Danila Poliakov was on the cover!

Who´s your inspiration?

At the age of 13 I saw one old issue of L´Officiel Paris with Rene Gruau´s pictures. The impression was so strong, that I began to believe in fashion illustration! I had some experiences with drawing and art, but just then I realised what is fashion about. Erte, Dior´s earlier illustrations, but especially Gruau taught me about laconism. Now I know every heroine has to beam her own character, french, english,... :)

Moja najobľúbenejšia Bond Girl predstavuje jeden z mojich najobľúbenejších alkoholov. Tie fotky sú urobené geniálne, neviem, kto ich fotil, sú jasne až priveľmi vyretušované, ale nesú v sebe tú atmosféru, akú mali aj pri Salme aj pri ostatných Campari Girl :)
Predstava krásnej ženy, ktorá vie čo chce, ako dosiahnuť svoje a vždy vyjsť ako víťaz. S ohnivo červenou vodou a iskrivým pohľadom.

Inak vedeli ste, že vraj ľudia s veľkými perami si viac vychutnávajú život a sú oveľa väčší pôžitkári ako ľudia s menším rozmerom? :)

Please let me introduce you Daria Zhukova. Young russian socialite, maybe better known as co-designer Kova & T and as Roman Abramovich´s girlfriend. I really appreciate her behaviour and style, less scandals than Paris Hilton or Peaches Geldof, but much more visible charism. She opened Garage in Moscow, what is an art centre for young people and I cant wait to visit my 1 day old cousin living in Moscow and to go there. She´s really pretty and wise imho and maybe I´ll meet her, because my uncle works with her boyfriend. Can´t wait!

And something from my life.
This saturday we (me & Viki) finally went to see Coco avant Chanel. I know, bit late, but...It´s Slovakia :)
Audrey was very similar to Coco and one of the things I realised is: Don´t be soooo proud. Who has seen or read about Chanel knows what am I talking about.

And that could mean, don´t be so proud in life, because maybe you´ll never catch the real happiness. Love, friends, status, everyone needs something else.

Right time to die is when all of your friends do.
Thanks God for a few of mine. People, who dance rock´n´roll in the middle of the overcrowded pub, make a friends with egyptian in Irish Pub in Slovakia, bake cakes without sugar, dress like geishas and go outside even when they look like prostitutes , wait for me with transparents under my windows (when I came back from summerholiday:) and believe I´m the best stylist they could ever wish :)

Hey Girls!
My old blog, if you remember Glamourmania, was full of articles about Nightlife. Yes, i adore it. Drinking Martini Bianco while summer wind is blowing, have a Black devil cigarette and good people around you. Music plays, moon shines, ... everything is great, but summer is over. It´s too cold to be outside and just to enjoy night and it is too hard to find some place, which can make atmosphere like that. Of course, sometimes there are house parties and so on, but if you want to have some VIP party, with only few people it can be a problem to find empty house without parents, sisters, grandmas,...
How are your parties this time?
And what about Halloween?
Any ideas?

Today, I thank God, there is other way of communication except of talking.
Chirurg cut something in my mouth, what was needed for my better speaking.
Anyway, I can´t talk.
But I do have very good news, I have new heels, 14,5 cm, very similar to YSL black heels, which were (I think they still are) very very popular a few times ago. So comfortable walking and stylish outfit, really I adore them. Some people just said I look like a prostitute, but I don´t care, because opinions of conservative citizens of Slovakia are not impornant for me, as well.
So I´m giving a few photo from my Prisma, because my photoaparat is already damaged.

Smoke or not to Smoke?

I smoke. I like it. Deep night, nobody´s around and all I can see is just an orange ending of my cigarette. Or when I hear the sea and I smoke. You see, I like to smoke alone. But it is only in case when I really want to smoke (not when I have nothing else to do) and, that means, my feelings need it.
Or the second situation, when I enjoy smoking is with my smoking friends or with smoking strangers. The subject of conversation, that is in the air, could not be subject of any other talk :)

But there is a thing, I don´t have any permanent opinion about, smoking woman.
Is it awful and not womanish?
It doesn´t smell good, so is this the biggest problem?

My opinion is, that it is sexy, independent and stylish.
But this is not reason for my smoking.
I smoke, because I want to.

I adore Heidi Slimane´s photos with Kate Moss, where she smokes.
My favourite are old movies with smoking Audrey and rebelious photos of smoking Doherty.

So, wtf?..:)

Edie died in the age of 28. She often combined the medications with alcohol.

Fashion Meeting. We´ve opened new season.

Fashion Meeting, haha..:D
We were so impatient to open New Season Of Košice´s Fashion Meetings, that it didn´t matter, that a lot of people couldn´t come and we met just 5 girls :)
But the evening was great! We had to meet at Saint Elizabeth House´s Square and then go to the Sushi Bar and after to Retro or another club. But the plans changed and we went straight to the Glamour Bar.
We weren´t sure, if they bring us a bottle of champagne, because nobody is 18, but that waiter was sooo sooo "I need a sex", that everything was ok ;)
As I told, it was little opening meeting, with a few of stylish girls, but a lot of ideas and plans for future, including how to make Košice more stylish and so on :)

Festival de Cannes

I started to read Paulo Coehlo´s book The Winner Stands Alone. I´ve read about 20 pages, but in fact I didn´t like it. That´s not my type of autor. Anyway, the the book was about russian man, who was for some reason attending Festival de Cannes. I´ve been interested in this Film Festival since I´m interested in fashion (..about 9 years), so this is the reason why I read it.
And a few days ago I found a lot of Festival Official Posters, so you can see them all here.
Poster I like the best is from the year 1992 (maybe because it´s my birthyear ;) and also from the 2008.
Everyone says, that FDC is not as much about movie as about fashion and clothes.
What do you all think?

Trish Valkonsky (or Patricia Mikulakova-Valkonsky) is 17 years old girl, borned in Moscow, grown up in Slovakia with Olive eyes and Red lips. Some friends call her Extrem, because of the things she does. You´ll discover it later. And now, here are some pics.
